How accurate are the train times?

Train times update automatically every 20 seconds using real-time data from Irish Rail. This includes live delay information, platform changes, and service disruptions.

Which stations are covered?

Is DART Times free to use?

Yes, DART Times is completely free with no subscription or registration required. The app is supported by non-intrusive advertising.

Can I use DART Times offline?

How do I install DART Times on my phone?

On iOS Safari: Tap the Share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android Chrome: Tap the menu (three dots), then 'Install app' or 'Add to Home Screen'.

Yes, each station page shows both Northbound and Southbound services (or equivalent directions for Commuter lines) with separate departure lists.

What do the delay indicators mean?

Green indicates on-time, orange shows minor delays (1-5 mins), and red indicates significant delays (5+ mins). Cancelled services are clearly marked.

Does DART Times show platform numbers?

Platform information is displayed when available from Irish Rail's real-time data feed.

Is my location data stored?

No. The location finder uses your device's GPS solely to find your nearest station. No location data is transmitted or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How often is train data updated?

Live departure times refresh automatically every 20 seconds while you're viewing a station page.

Can I check multiple stations at once?

You can quickly switch between stations using the station selector or by tapping your saved favorites.

What's the difference between DART and Commuter trains?

DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) runs along the coast from Malahide/Howth to Greystones. Commuter trains serve longer routes: Western (to Sligo/Longford), South Western (to Portlaoise/Kildare), and Northern (to Drogheda).
